Daniel Bryan is one of the most beloved WWE Superstars to come around since the Attitude Era, and the millions (and millions!) of fans all around the world flocked to him for one of the biggest moments in WrestleMania history earlier this year. But WHAT IF the goat-faced leader of the “YES! Movement” never wrestled again? Would he be an eligible member of the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2015?

As I attempt to pass the time, anxiously awaiting the UPS truck that carries my precious Wii U console and sweet, sweet copies of Hyrule Warriors and Super Smash Bros, still encased in their shiny, plastic wrapped cocoons, I began thinking of something interesting to write a column about. 

Mark Madden’s latest column touched on the current Team Cena vs. Team Authority angle, and is worth the read if you haven’t already. An obligatory reference to the played-out nature of authority figures was made, as was the mention of the great Mr. McMahon character circa 1997.

Traditional Elimination Match Added to Sunday’s Survivor Series PPV; Updated Card w/ 6 Announced Matches, Pre-Show Panel, Coverage Details

WWE has announced another classic Survivor Series elimination match for this Sunday’sPPV. While AJ Lee and Nikki Bella square off for the Divas Championship, eight other Divas will be competing in a 4-on-4 elimination match. 

While no captains have been officially named yet, it appears that Natalya will lead a team of Alicia Fox, Naomi and Emma against Paige’s team of Cameron, Summer Rae and Layla. 

An updated match card for the show is listed below, including six announced matches, the official pre-show panel and more. Wrestlezone will have complete and exclusive live coverage of the PPV beginning at 7:30PM ET this Sunday, October 23rd.

Zack Ryder posts injury update on YouTube

Since sustaining an injury in early November, Zack Ryder has been on the mend. Yet unless you follow him on Twitter, the WWE Universe has likely been kept in the dark on The Ultimate Broski's recovery process, save for a brief update given by John Cena the next week. However, the former U.S. Championhas taken again to YouTube, posting a two-minute update on his status and recovery, documenting a trip to Birmingham, Ala. (with Mr. Ryder at his side, of course) and the process that he hopes will get him back in the ring in six weeks rather than six months. Get well soon, broski.
